In strip brushes, the fill material is secured within a metal channel. This allows them to be mounted using holders or inserted into grooves, also as replacement elements for special circular and roller brushes. All standard types are supplied in lengths of 1,000 mm. For strip brushes Type 25 and Type 40, dedicated holders are available for secure mounting.
Standard types are stocked with brush bodies made of galvanized steel strip and filled with PA6 or Horse hair (MAH). If your application allows, we recommend using our standard types available from stock.

| Type of fill material | Fill material | Properties |
| Synthetic fibres | PA 6.6 (Polyamid) | All polyamid qualities have strong recovery properties. PA 6.6 is the filament with the highest rigidity in dry application before PA 6.12 and PA 6. In case of wet use PA 6.12 ranks before PA 6.6 and PA 6 because of the lowest water absorption. |
| Natural fibres | MAH (Horse hair) | Horse hair, soft, natural grey/natural black |
