Due to their versatility lath brushes are indespensable in particular industries today.

Many of our customers go for our standardised plastic cores for our lath brushes types 36 and 48, which offer advantages regarding the price and the availability.

The plastic cores are available in PVC, PP and PE.

Should you have not been able to find the suitable lath brush for your application although our standard range is most versatile, we trust that our special types might come up perfectly to your requirement.

They also offer best quality to meet your most particular wishes. You can choose for instance between frame shape, angled or arched shape; special fixing devices such as round drill holes or slots; threaded, grooved or clamped holding devices.

We can produce flat-belt brushes in any length requested, open ended or endless. They are mainly equipped with natural hairs or bristles, plant fibres or synthetic bristles.

Depending on the fill material a brush surface from very soft to very hard can be obtained.

For this brush type we use standardised vee-belt profiles, made of polyester elastomers and immune to moisture, oil and grease as well as resistant to numerous chemicals. Therefore an application is possible in a temperature range from -15°C to +80°C.

Mainly natural hairs and bristles, plant fibres and synthetic bristles (PA, PP, etc.) are used, so  all kinds of brush surface - from very soft to very hard - can be obtained according to the material quality chosen.

Toothed belt brushes from KULLEN are a version of common belt brushes and therefore are appropriate for the same application purposes. However, they offer one advantage in the feeding technique which the others do not: they can be set to a measurable cycle time.

We only use standard toothed belts made of polyurethane with especially welded studs for fixing the fill material. The toothed belts are resistant against humidity, oils, greases and most chemicals. They can be used at temperatures between -15°C up to 80°C.

Circular brushes are defined as brushes with a body length of up to 100 mm. The comprehensive range of dimensions, core materials, fill materials and fill configurations demonstrate the versability of Kullen-Koti again and again.

The max. circumferential speed for this brush type is 15  m/sec.

Roller brushes Type 421 without a sub-body are defined as having a body length longer than 100 mm (for brushes shorter than 100 mm, see "Circular brushes"). The comprehensive range of dimensions, core materials, fill materials and fill configurations demonstrate the versability of Kullen-Koti again and again.

The max. circumferential speed for this brush type is 15 m/sec.

Roller brushes Type 422 with sub-bodies e. g. tubular cores with journals are defined as having a body length longer than 100 mm (for brushes shorter than 100 mm, see "Circular brushes").The brush cores are mounted on steel or aluminium shafts for strenth and rigidity.

The comprehensive range of dimensions, core materials, fill materials and fill configurations demonstrates the versability of Kullen-Koti again and again. We would be pleased to supply you on request with details of special body designs, fill configurations as well as types with journals.

The brush cores are made of special reinforced polypropylene making them light, resistant to acids and alkalis and suitable for use in the food industry. The range of dimensions is extensive. All in all we offer seven standard core diameters with three fill density variations each: low, medium, and high - making a total of twenty-one standard cores to choose from.

All possible fill materials can be used.
To assemble a complete roller brush is remarkably quick an easy as it does not involve any complicated mechanical connections, simply slide the brush segments on to the brush shaft and secure them in position with two locking collars.

The ST-system above all is suitable for roller brushes fitted to a shaft or tubular core with journals made of steel or stainless steel (1.4301; 1.4541).

The available core systems are: shaft WK1, tubular core WK2 resp. WK4.All available fill material qualities can be used.The maximum peripheral speed for this brush type is 15m/sec.

The bristles of strip brushes are fitted in a metal backing tape. This allows the brushes to be mounted by means of holders or inserted into grooves. For example, as replacements for special circular and roller brushes.

All standard types are supplied in a length of 1.000 mm. We can supply seperate holders for fixing our strip brushes type 25 and type 40.

Our special types consist of 10 types of strip brushes with metal backing widths from 1,8 mm to 13,5 mm, which we can produce in a large range of variations.

You can choose fill materials like natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments.

Our sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges, for example in a self-adhesive design, or fixed by screws or by welding.

As our standard types which are available from stock we chose our most demanded sealing brushes concerning the trim heights and overall lengths.

Our sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges. The special types consist of 11 types of sealing brushes which we can produce in a large range of variations on your request.

You can choose fill types like natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments. 

These types of brushes are particularly versatile in the way in which they can be mounted and in which they harmonise visually.

11 standard types of sealing brushes with aluminium profiles are available from stock, filled with synthetic filaments of polyamide (PA6), polypropylene (PP) and soft horse hair (mane hair MAH).

In addition to the versatility of 11 particular types of aluminium profiles they can be supplied anodized resp. plastic coated in RAL colours on your request.

We call as special types our 11 types of sealing brushes which we can produce in a big range of variations on your request.

Our special types of sealing brushes consist of 16 particular plastic profiles which we can supply in a comprehensive range of variations.

The two constructions of sealing brushes are strip brush construction and punched brush construction. Depending on the fill material you can choose a fill density of high EA1, medium EA2 or low EA3.

Kullen-Koti strip brushes with metal backing tape have a big advantage over other brush constructions with rigid plastic bodies. This is because they can be formed to ring brushes with a diameter of 12 mm and with a bore of 5 mm up to the biggest diameter of 2.000 mm with an inward diameter of 1.000 mm.

The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter.

As you are able to receive the strip brush with the fill facing outwards, it is no problem for Kullen-Koti to produce the same brushes with the fill facing inwards. Even with these brushes you have a dimensional range that cannot be reached with any other brush construction.

The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter.

The strip brushes in cup form are also an all-purpose brush type.

For special tasks we offer the dimensions from 20 mm to 1000 mm and through that cover a wide spectrum of applications.

Our sealing brushes with steel profile can also be formed like the strip brushes. The dimensions range from a diameter of 40 mm to the diameter of 1000 mm and therefore cover a wide spectrum of applications.

We offer you the following selection criterias:
- All fill material like natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments.
- As backing material we use galvanised steel and stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4571) tapes.
- The same possibilities are available for the production of strip brushes in arch form however not only in semi circles but also in other pitch forms.

Kullen-Koti disc brushes can be supplied with various fill configurations. For example with compressed face, with narrow or large fill collars, with fill array in particular forms, either with normal vertical bristle bundles or with inclined bundles to all directions.

We supply core material according to your application purpose, for example cores made of plastic qualities PP, PA, PE, POM or PVC as well as of wood or different steel and metal types.

Kullen-Koti has a large range of moulded brush discs. These are used for various applications, namely, de-burring. For this, brush discs with nylon abrasive filling or wire are mainly used. The abrasive filling removes burrs that occur during production processes.

Moulded disc brushes are characterised by their filling density. This can´t be achieved with other brushes.  Furthermore the moulded disc brush has an extra flat filling. That leads to perfect deburring results and has a longer service life than conventional brushes. They need to be replaced much less frequently.

Back in 1931 the history of an inimitable brush began: Kullen-Koti was already the patentee for this spiral brush with a double-sheet backing tape.

Since then we have been developing this brush type and have manufactured the most variations. But one thing always remained the same: the double-sheet backing tape. Because of our experience, this system is the most effective and safe method.

The DBS-Spiral roller brushes types 220 & 221 are extremely flexible in their dimension and depending on the required performance these endless spiral brush coils are mounted on core systems made of mild steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metal.

Compared with other brush designs we can reach the highest possible fill density with these types and they can be applied with a maximum speed of 55 m/sec without any problems.

Our roller brush coil designed as welded package system will also pack the tiger in your tank! Why is it reasonable and advantageous to purchase a welded package system type 231?

Each face width of a roller brush needed can be divided in a corresponding number of single, compact segments, called packages. What we produce are light and easy-to-handle packages with a constant, high density which facilitates and accelerates the equipping of a brush core or shaft carried out by yourself. The welded package system is not only easy to mount but it also makes you independent of any transportation of the core to the supplier for refilling, packing, delivery times etc. and helps you out of emergency situations.

A further variation of the "Throw-Away" system is type 230. It consists of continuously wound DBS-spiral brushes fitted to a thin walled steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metal tubular shaft.

According to your requirements the tube could consist of steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metal. The face width corresponds to the required total brush length (BLG). The complete "Throw-Away" brushes can be simply assembled onto the customer's existing shaft. This method avoids the costly return of the complete shafts when the brushes have to be replaced.

The long period of development of this brush type has left its mark and appears in every detail of the brush. The STS-spiral coil is the only brush type that can be produced with very small diameters.

Already starting at an overall diameter of 17 mm. Offering an enormous choice of dimensions and fill material qualities this brush has almost unlimited applications in light or medium work. The diagram below shows how the STS coil is constructed: the fill material is fixed with a locking wire inside the backing tape.

A very interesting aspect of our STS-spiral coils is the type with inverted fill material that is used, for instance, for polishing, descaling or removal of corrosion off rods or wires in a continuous operation.With an outside diameter of only 20 mm it is possible to reach an inner diameter of zero.

Offering an enormous choice of dimensions and fill material qualities this brush has almost unlimited applications. The pioneering of this brush type has left its mark and shows in every detail of this brush.

The STS-spiral roller brush range contains all measurements from small to extra large and this unbeatable selection of diameters makes this brush a totally reliable tool for light brushing tasks.

Due to the high fill density and precisely ground surface it achieves outstanding results. A flawless radial true runing is a requirement in most cases to achieve the desired brush effect.

The Kullen-Koti roller brush type 350 is one of our "highlights" as it consists of a lightweight aluminium core with horizontal grooves where strip brushes are fitted in.

Two standardized aluminium cores are available:For our brush type 350/54 with 20 horizontal grooves,which means the brush consists of max. 20 strip brushes around the circumference.For our brush type 350/85 with 36 horizontal grooves, which means the brush consists of max. 36 strip brushes around the circumference.

Type 964 is made of single section brushes mounted together on a core up to the required face width. This roller brush type can be mounted on cores made from stainless steel, plastic coated steel or mild steel.

Kullen-Koti recommends especially this type for heavy-duty operations with a high dense brush surface e.g. by using our single section brushes with twisted steelknots (Type Z-SH). But we can manufacture the single section in almost all other fill material types.

Strip roller brushes 302 are indeed unique and easy-to-handle: you only purchase the roller brush core once and easily refill it by yourself with the corresponding strip brushes after wear. And besides, it is a very economical brush system. The roller cores consist of mild steel or stainless steel (1.4301; 1.4541; 1.4571).

The rugged construction allows problem-free operation also in adverse conditions. Roller brushes type 302 are mounted in axial direction around the circumference. The brush cores can be supplied either with journals or with arbor hole for mounting on the existing primary shaft.
