Patents show the way forward
1935-1939
The Company was granted a second patent for Spiral brush technology and a patent for a paper and fabric moistener. A branch was set up in Schillingfürst (Bavaria) with round about 20 workers where car wash brushes and dandy brushes for horses were the main production.
1940-1945
Manufacturing continued under difficult conditions. Production was almost exclusively brushes for the armed forces and industries dedicated to the war effort.
1945-1947
Resumption and slow build up of production despite shortages of raw materials and restrictions due to the allied forces section borders.
1950
A patent was granted for the Kullen Spiral brush machine under No. 814 137.
1952
On the first of January 1952 the Company was changed into a limited partnership. It was now named Kullenbürsten Kullen & Co. KG.
